This page sets out how NUVACORE, Inc. (“NUVACORE”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through nuvacore.ai (the “Site”), and the terms on which the Site may be used. Questions about anything here can be sent through the form on our Contact page, or by post to the address at the end of this page.

Privacy policy

Who we are and what this covers

NUVACORE, Inc. is a CPU design company headquartered at 5201 Great America Parkway, Suite 215, Santa Clara, CA 95054, United States. This policy applies to the Site and to the ways you can contact us or apply to work with us through it. It does not cover the third-party websites we link to, such as LinkedIn or the news outlets whose coverage we reference; their own policies apply there.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, the business you represent, the reason for your enquiry and your message. When you apply for a role, your application — your résumé or CV, contact details and anything else you include — is submitted through our recruiting provider, Lever, on its hosted application form, or sent by you to careers@nuvacore.ai.

Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, the Site is served through a hosting provider whose systems record standard technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the Site securely and to diagnose problems. We also use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service, to count visits and see which pages are read. It works without cookies or persistent identifiers, does not identify individual visitors and does not follow them across other sites; what it receives, such as the page address, the referring site, browser type and country, is held only in aggregate. The Site does not run advertising trackers and does not build profiles of visitors.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to respond to your enquiry, to consider your application, to communicate with you about either, and, where you have asked us to, to keep you informed about NUVACORE. We use technical information to operate, secure and improve the Site. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are our legitimate interests in running the Site and responding to people who contact us, the steps needed to consider you for a role you have applied for, and your consent where we ask for it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only for those purposes: Netlify, which hosts the Site and receives contact-form submissions; Sanity, which hosts the Site's content and media; Lever, which handles job applications; and Plausible Analytics, which provides cookieless, aggregated visit statistics. Each acts under contract terms that restrict how it may use the information. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a financing, merger or sale of the business, in which case the same protections will continue to apply.

Cookies and analytics

The Site does not set cookies of its own for visitors. Visit statistics are collected by Plausible Analytics without cookies or persistent identifiers, so no consent banner is shown. Our Cookies page, at nuvacore.ai/cookies, explains what the Site stores in your browser and is kept current as the Site changes.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally no more than two years. Applications for roles are kept for the duration of the hiring process and, if you are not successful, for up to twelve months afterwards so that we can consider you for other openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Technical logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy of it in a portable form, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and may also complain to their local data protection authority. Residents of California have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion; we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Residents of Canada have rights under PIPEDA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for doing so.

International transfers

NUVACORE is based in the United States and our service providers operate there and elsewhere, so your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to the Site and access controls on the systems that hold it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed, and significant changes will be flagged on the Site.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or modify the Site's content for any other purpose without our written permission, and you may not use the Site in a way that damages it, interferes with anyone else's use of it, or breaks the law. We may change or withdraw any part of the Site at any time without notice.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to keep its content accurate and current, but we give no warranty, express or implied, that it is complete, accurate, error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NUVACORE and its officers, directors, employees and agents are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content, or any website it links to.

Forward-looking statements

The Site describes products that are in development and includes statements about their expected performance, capabilities, efficiency and availability. These are forward-looking statements based on our current plans and expectations. They are not guarantees: actual results may differ materially, and nothing on the Site should be relied on as a commitment, or as investment advice.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from the Site, are governed by the laws of the State of California and the federal laws of the United States applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you rights that cannot be excluded.
