Cookies

This page explains what the NUVACORE website (the “Site”) stores in your browser and how you can control it. It describes what the Site actually does today, and it will be updated before that changes.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website places in your browser so that it can recognise you between pages or visits. Similar technologies include local storage, which a site can use to keep settings in your browser, and pixels, which are tiny images used to record that a page or an email was opened. This notice uses “cookies” to cover all of them.

What this site uses

The Site does not set any cookies of its own for visitors. It does not run advertising or social-media tracking, and it does not use pixels. It does use a privacy-focused analytics service that works without cookies, described below. A few things are worth knowing about:

• Hosting. The Site is served by Netlify. Delivering the Site does not place cookies in your browser; Netlify's servers do record standard technical logs, which our privacy policy describes.

Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Plausible sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It receives the page address, the site you arrived from and general technical details such as browser type and country, which it aggregates; it does not identify individual visitors and does not follow them across other sites. Its own policy is at plausible.io/data-policy.

• Media. Images and video are delivered from Sanity's content delivery network, which does not set cookies.
• Editors only. Colleagues who review unpublished content through the Site's preview mode receive a temporary cookie that switches preview on for their browser. It is never set for ordinary visitors.
• Job applications. Applications are made on Lever's hosted careers pages at jobs.lever.co, a separate website with its own cookies and privacy notice, which apply once you leave the Site.
• Links to other sites. Links to LinkedIn, to news outlets and to our investors take you to those sites, which set their own cookies under their own policies.

Consent and your choices

Because the Site sets no non-essential cookies, including for analytics, it does not ask for cookie consent. If we ever add a non-essential cookie, visitors in places where consent is required, such as the EU and the UK, will be asked before it is set, and this notice will list it. You can also block or delete cookies for any site through your browser's privacy settings; your browser's help pages explain how.

Changes to this notice

We update this page when what the Site stores changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
